The Tern HSD S8i Electric Cargo Bike is perfect if you're looking to ditch the car in favour of a more environmentally friendly mode of transport. A Bosch motor and battery system provide a boost so you can ride up to 69 miles without breaking a sweat and will provide assistance up to a maximum speed of 15.5 mph / 25 km/h. There are four riding modes, as well as a walk assist mode, taking the effort out of pushing the bike. The HSD is designed to be incredibly stable with good handling, with a longer wheelbase and lower centre of gravity. It incorporates a Suntour suspension fork to soak up shock and smooth out the roads, and the step-thru design makes the bike easier to mount and dismount. There's plenty of room for adjustment; the frame itself is designed to fit riders from 150cm to 195cm, and the saddle, stem and seatpost can also be dialled in to suit. 

Built to carry loads of up to 170kg, the HSD is strong and sturdy. It comes with a dedicated trailer mount and an extra-long Atlas H Rack™ that can be fitted with a range of Passenger System accessories to suit your needs, so you can transport your child, heavy cargo or use it for the weekly shopping. 

Sporting a Shimano Nexus hub gear system, maintenance is low and shifting is smooth and reliable. You can shift while pedalling and while stopped, allowing you to select the correct gear for rolling away from a standstill. Magura hydraulic discs take care of braking, creating strong stopping power in both wet and dry conditions no matter how heavy a load you're carrying. Sturdy Atlas 20" wheels are paired with Schwalbe tyres for smooth rolling and good puncture protection. 

There are a number of practical accessories included with this bike, including front and rear lights, mudguards, an integrated chainguard and an ABUS lock. The bike also folds flat in just 15 seconds for transport and storage, or alternatively, it can be stored upright if you have limited floor space at home or in the office.
