Chris King’s DropSet 3 Headset with Steel Bearings is an integrated headset option of the highest quality. The precision-made steel bearings and races have been designed to be more than a match for the extra demands placed upon them by their integrated position, as the lack of supporting cup means that it is easier for the bearings to shift and pre-load be lost, which in turn can lead to premature wear and creaking. The GripLock® retention system overcomes this, retaining preload even under heavy disc braking and big hits.
